DSJ Global is excited to present an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Application Specialist in the field of material sciences. Our client, based in Germany, seeks a skilled specialist with excellent technical knowledge who can operate in an interdisciplinary function from R&D, Technical Support and Sales Consultation.
Job Description:
As an application specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to clients all over the globe while taking into account their unique requirements. You will also play an essential role in adapting and developing new applications within the sector of materials, coatings and lubricants
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer support/service, including visiting customers on-site and drafting presentations.
- Working in the lab, conducting tests and focusing on product development.
- Focused work on documentation create, report writing as well as patent research.
- Collaborate internally and with partners on projects, taking them through the process from planning to execution.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
1. Masters Degree in Materials, Materials Sciences, Metals, Metallurgy or Engineering equivalent.
2. 2 years industry experience.
3. Project Management experience.
4.German language skills B1-B2 is desirable.
