Title: Supply Chain Manager
Summary: A leading manufacturer in the Food/ Consumer industry is looking to bring on a Supply Chain Manager to their team in the Chicago area. With an annual revenue of over $360M, this client manufactures various natural products such as supplements and proteins for consumer markets. With this, you will be responsible for leading the operations planning process and aligning production, demand, and supply.
The Manager's Responsibilities:
- Lead supply chain planning processes and a team of production planning supervisors
- Establish new methods to improve supply chain performance
- Drive lean-based processes to improve efficiencies and recommend cost-reduction opportunities
- Align the customer forecasts with production to achieve on-time delivery
- Evaluate future systems and supply chain methodologies to align with best practices
- Coordinate records and resources across all manufacturing plants
The Manager's Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain Management or similar field
- 5+ year's experience in supply chain, planning, or related space
- APICS certification preferred
- Strong proficiency in Oracle and ERP/ MRP Systems
