A leading online retailer in Germany is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead the Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Logistics Coordination functions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support key projects and initiatives to improve assigned metrics and deliver results
- Continuous optimisation to ensure the highest product availability and minimise costs
- Improve and update planning systems whilst managing the capable planning teams
- Work with logistics coordination specialists to ensure smooth running of processes
- Reporting landscape and processes (including interfaces with other functional and cross functional processes, e.g. supply planning, S&OP or SCM resilience strategies)
- Work closely with the team and relevant cross-functional stakeholders to develop and improve targeted strategies to optimise inventory availability
- Think of innotive new ways to optimise the supply chain management function
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in supply chain planning/controlling, inventory management or similar
- Professional experience in planning and logistics functions/management (e-commerce of FMCG industry preferred, but not mandatory)
- Advanced Excel and SQL skills and experience with data warehouses
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to prioritise
- Results and performance-based way of working
- Analytical way of thinking
- Fluent English and good knowledge of German
