Key functions of the position include:
- Lead / direct technician work group
- Vendor Review Meetings
- Planning and directing activities, trials, and discussions with raw material vendors
- Internal Project related activities & discussions with QA, Operations, Product Management and Managing timelines and expectations.
- Planning & Directing, and Executing Converting Trials
- Analyzing and reporting on results of trials and determining next steps
- Onsite trial direction at Raw Material Vendors
- Create & Edit Raw Material Specifications
- Develop product specification targets and tolerances
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree. Preference is given to Scientific and Engineering degree
- 10+ years manufacturing, product and or process development/improvement experience in a related industry (nonwovens, paper/pulp or fiber manufacturing)
- Previous experience managing people and project management
- MS Office, Microsoft Project, SPC, Basic to intermediate Statistical Analysis, Experimental Design
