POSITION SUMMARY
I am seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) specializing in Supply Chain to join my client's team. As an integral member of the Supply Chain Leadership team, you'll play a crucial role in aligning business goals with employee needs. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll champion employees and drive positive change within the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass assessing HR requirements, implementing strategic initiatives, and fostering effective communication between HR and business leaders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Establishing HR metrics, with a focus on Supply Chain, and ensuring their achievement.
- Collaborating with the Supply Chain Leadership team to enhance the Employee Value Proposition.
- Orchestrating Employee Engagement Surveys and spearheading initiatives to foster a highly engaged workforce.
- Designing and executing strategies to uphold the company's union-free status.
- Partnering with the Zone HR team to attract and retain talent within the Supply Chain function.
- Providing guidance on career development and leadership programs for Supply Chain leaders.
- Identifying training needs and implementing coaching programs for Supply Chain personnel.
- Contributing to the development and evaluation of training programs to ensure effectiveness.
- Advocating for Supply Chain interests within the broader HR framework and implementing relevant initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with policies to maintain a safe and equitable work environment.
- Managing employee relations issues and conducting thorough investigations as needed.
- Staying updated on employment laws and regulations to mitigate legal risks.
- Overseeing workers' compensation and leave of absence cases.
- Supporting time & attendance, payroll, and benefits administration for Supply Chain staff.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a supply chain or manufacturing environment.
- PHR certification or the ability to obtain it within a year of employment.
- Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement is advantageous.
- Fluency in English; Spanish or Chinese is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
COMPENSATION
$130,000-160,000 base salary
