You will be purchasing casting solutions, spare parts and various raw materials for machinery, as well as engineering commodities, while further developing processes and strategies to ensure a sustainable supplier portfolio.
- Develop and implement the CAPEX and Subcontracting group strategy for the managed commodity groups (including Bought Out Finished and Spare Parts)
- Engage in target pricing, conduct thorough offer analysis, and assess evaluations - serving as a skilled negotiator with our suppliers, you'll autonomously oversee the purchasing journey until contract finalisation.
- Play a pivotal role in defining bid requisites, orchestrating tender processes, managing supplier data maintenance, and upholding adherence to internal and external compliance standards. Your unwavering motivation propels our progress.
- Proficiently address objections arising from contract deviations, adapt pertinent procurement protocols, and extend assistance to product group suppliers.
- Collaborate closely with specialised departments across our locations, local procurement teams, and participate in projects spanning multiple sites - all integral facets of your daily responsibilities.
- Demonstrated track record of several years in procurement or supply chain management, preferably with expertise in the specific product categories under your care.
- Proficiency in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders, along with suppliers within the automotive domain.
- Skilled in navigating SAP and MS Office platforms.
- Fluent communication skills in both German and English, enabling effective mediation of diverse interests and the ability to enthuse others about your objectives and concepts.
