Accountabilities:
- Lead project teams to ensure optimal safety, cost control, quality, engineering, procurement, construction, and team dynamics.
- Collaborate with project team members to maintain alignment with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Submit project deliverables, prepare status reports, and implement effective project communication plans.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Develop and monitor project KPIs.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee project execution, ensuring timely and accurate completion to specifications.
- Delegate project tasks and predict/manage required resources efficiently.
- Conduct cost analysis, budget preparation, and risk assessments; recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Serve as a liaison between the company, clients, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with various regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Develop project documentation, including scope of work, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Manage contractor selection and construction oversight.
- Participate in project close-out and documentation turnover.
- Conduct work in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Perform under the general direction of the Manager - Major Capital Projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations.

- Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Valid driver's license, suitable driving record, and ability to pass drug and alcohol tests.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university; or equivalent industry experience.
- PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or similar project management certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years in project engineering, project management, and/or industrial experience.
- OSHA 10 or 30 Hour training certification preferred.
Ability to Travel:
- Willingness to travel overnight and work out of town as required.
- Travel between site locations will be necessary.
Working Hours:
- Work schedules determined by department and/or production needs.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Work in operating plants or construction sites with exposure to various environmental conditions and safety hazards.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment and drive a company vehicle if assigned.
