Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the procurement team at the location, ensuring efficient workflows and high performance.
- Conduct sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and execution of agreements to meet daily business requirements.
- Oversee project teams and initiatives, driving successful outcomes and adherence to timelines.
- Spearhead process improvements within the procurement function, leveraging expertise to enhance efficiency.
- Provide support for commodity management, including implementing process improvements and integrating suppliers.
- Assist in the implementation of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and continuous improvement efforts.
- Act as a key liaison with senior management teams in Operations, Finance, Quality, Engineering, HR, and more.
- Support the plant manager in leadership duties, serving as a trusted advisor and right-hand person.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in Procurement Management, demonstrating a track record of success.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace or related industry.
- Strong leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve goals.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with raw materials, metals, nuts and bolts, sheet metals, etc., is highly desirable.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Possesses a high sense of urgency, accountability, and dedication to driving results.
