A leading Food and Beverage Company is seeking an experienced Sr. Director of Food, Safety and Quality. The Sr. FSQ Director will play a key role in the development and leadership of the company's FSQA programs.
The Sr. Director of Food, Safety and Quality will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop and implement FSQ programs, ensuring compliance with federal/local regulations
- Provide guidance to solve FSQ issues in an effective and timely manner, proactively make FSQ program changes to ensure problems do not persist
- Develop/maintain company wide KPI's to track departments performance
- Oversee/train a team of high performing FSQ employees
- Represent the company externally in the areas of food, safety and quality
The ideal Sr. Director of Food, Safety and Quality candidate will have the following skillset:
- Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred
- 8+ Years food, safety and quality experience
- 5+ Years managerial experience in the food and beverage industry or relevant field
- Experience managing large and multi-site plants, preferred
- Knowledge of FDA, HACCP, SSOP, SOP and GMP
- Knowledge of food microbiology
