Responsibilities:
- Develops comprehensive category strategies that deliver value across all areas of spend including CAPEX and MRO.
- Leads cross-functional teams through sourcing events using best practice methods from initial strategy planning through contract execution while delivering against savings targets.
- Establishes preferred supplier agreements (PSA) where appropriate ensuring they are aligned with global/regional/local business needs/requirements whilst negotiating preferential terms and prices which support financial objectives
- Maintains good relationships with key internal stakeholders by understanding how Procurement can add measurable value at each stage of project delivery
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required plus 10+ years direct strategic sourcing /procurement experience essential preferably gained within Chemical Manufacturing environment
- Demonstrable expertise managing complex technical categories such Mechanical services ,utilities Maintenance Repair Operations(MRO),CAPEX etc
- Proven track record executing large-scale projects involving multiple functions/stakeholders simultaneously
- Knowledge/experience working closely alongside senior leadership team members providing robust recommendations/options
