This innovator in Microwave Technology is looking for a talented RF Power Amplifier Design Engineer to join the team and take on the challenge of designing components used in high-power, solid-state amplifiers and amplifier systems. You'll be responsible for the detailed design, schematic capture, and testing of electronic circuits, ensuring the products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design RF & Microwave assemblies, analog circuits, power supplies, and other components.
- Develop functional specifications for RF power amplifiers and systems.
- Perform RF budget analysis and lead projects to completion.
- Collaborate with production assemblers to construct evaluation circuits and prototypes.
- Conduct design verification tests and report findings.
- Assist in customer proposal development and provide technical support.
Qualifications:
- Experience in RF and Microwave Circuit Design.
- Proficiency with RF tools like Microwave Office, ADS, VSS, Genesys, Sonnet 3D Planar, HFSS & CST.
- Advanced RF/Analog/Digital lab skills.
- Familiarity with standard lab equipment such as Vector Signal Analyzers/Generators, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics
- 5+ years of related experience
- Ability to attain government security clearance
