Job Title: Production Planner
Location: On site Waterbury, CT
Company Description: A global leading metals manufacturing company is looking for a Production Planner to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Creating the schedule and production plans, according to orders from stock
- Ensure a smooth flow of material and inventory
- Optimize yield and minimize scrap on production order from available metal
- Communicate deviations in schedule or changes to all relevant departments
- Work cross functionally with different teams including production, quality, procurement, engineering, logistics, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with MRP planning software
