A leading manufacturer in the packaging industry is looking for a Procurement Manager that will be responsible for sourcing raw materials.
This is a hybrid role in Atlanta, GA and will require up to 25% travel.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Procurement Process for raw packaging materials
- Research and negotiate vendor agreements and contracts
- Research market trends and understand inflation/deflation of category
- Support multiple plants
- Establish and manage key supplier relations and supplier negotiations
- Review suppliers and KPI development
- Work cross-functionally with other departments and executives within the company to execute short and long-term objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years packaging Procurement experience
- Proven leadership skills
- Proven supplier relationship experience
- Proven cross-functional experience
- Both verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to network effectively in the industry
