We have a current opportunity for a Procurement Manager for a global raw materials supplier. This role will be based in Hong Kong.
About the Role:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and procedures to optimise the supply chain and ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements, and provide guidance and support to ensure timely and efficient procurement processes.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate supplier performance to ensure high-quality goods and services are delivered on time and within budget.
- Monitor market trends, identify potential risks, and proactively develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Oversee logistics and operations processes, identify areas for improvement.
About the Candidate:
- Proven experience in procurement management, with a strong background in logistics and operations.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, best practices, and industry standards.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimise procurement processes.
