Title: Procurement Manager (Packaging)
A global packaging distribution company in New Jersey is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their fast-growing team and manage a team of purchasing professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for the procurement and purchasing team
- Onboard new suppliers and interact and maintain relationships with existing ones
- Negotiate contracts with international vendors
- Identify supplier sources and keep up to date with industry knowledge/ market trends
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree (business, finance, supply chain, etc.)
- 7 years minimum in Procurement or Purchasing, ideally with packaging experience
- ERP Systems knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with suppliers
- Experience leading a team
