Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in engineering in a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in leading and motivating small groups effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting expertise in blow molding and related equipment.
- Ability to interpret basic blueprints and CAD drawings.
- Skilled in basic shop mathematics, mechanical concepts, and mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage technical personnel to foster teamwork, communication, skill development, safety adherence, and Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Maintain accurate time records for subordinates to streamline operations.
- Achieve or exceed established plant goals, focusing on efficiency enhancement and waste reduction.
- Plan and oversee machine/equipment maintenance and daily activities.
- Effectively utilize Material Safety Data Sheets and safety instructions for a secure work environment.
- Ensure ready availability of machine/equipment spare parts to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate seamless machine/equipment installations for uninterrupted operations.
