Job Summary:
A well-known manufacturer is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations as they relate to production and maintenance. This role will ensure manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, controlling budgets, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers.
The Operations Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that optimize efficiency and productivity
- Manage staff and resources to ensure smooth day-to-day manufacturing operations
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, partners, and customers
- Manage budgets, track expenses, and analyze financial statements to identify areas for cost savings
- Monitor inventory levels and oversee the ordering of supplies and materials
- Collaborate with other managers to develop and implement strategies for improving the company's performance
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to staff
The Operations Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. Preferably in Engineering, Business, Operations or Science
- 10 years of experience in a variety of roles in manufacturing
- 5 years in food and beverage manufacturing
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
