Daily Responsibilities
* Handling and refining microelectronics processes, from bare die to SMT packaged components in complex assemblies, encompassing epoxy dispensing, die attachment, wire bonding, soldering, cleansing, and sealing. Meeting stringent out-gassing criteria for hermetically sealed products, employing getter or alternative remedies to counteract semiconductor hydrogen poisoning in sealed units.
* Surveying and endorsing procurement of manufacturing machinery for sturdy, high-reliability microelectronics production.
* Collaborating with vendors to establish, calibrate, and manage assembly equipment.
* Assisting in bid and proposal efforts by detailing microelectronics manufacturing capabilities.
* Active involvement in routine meetings and assessments as an essential component of Integrated Product Development teams.
* Identifying and validating initiatives to enhance manufacturing proficiency, output, efficiency, and capability.
* Launching and executing design of experiments (DOE) initiatives as required to progress capabilities and refine processes.
* Assuming a leadership role within the team through expertise in your specialized area.
* Potentially overseeing the actions of other staff members by serving as Team Lead.
