Job Description:
As our new Principal/Led Electrical Engineer, you will play an instrumental role in overseeing electro-mechanical-thermal systems development for custom machinery projects. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all products meet design specifications while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities Include:
* Engage in start-up and commissioning for electrical distribution equipment and motors.
* Oversight of specifications and purchasing of key electrical equipment such as medium and low voltage switchgear and motor control centers, transformers, VFD's, UPS systems, DC systems, etc. Responsibilities include writing and/or reviewing purchase specifications, evaluating quotations, performing/reviewing technical bid evaluations, vendor document review, and factory acceptance testing.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably) in Engineering
Experience:
5 years minimum experience working within relevant chemical or oil and gas engineering industries.
5 years minimum leadership/supervisory experience required.
