- Identify and target potential customers through market research and lead generation activities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand their freight transportation needs.
- Provide expert advice on our rail freight solutions, helping customers choose the best options.
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and quotations.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms to secure new business and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to service.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Proven inside sales experience in the transportation or logistics industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of rail freight and logistics concepts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in Dutch and/or French, with proficiency in English.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is a plus.
