We are working with a global leader in the aerospace industry in their search for an Import/Export Manager to join their team. In this position you will be responsible for managing the import/export processes of materials and finished goods, in line with international customs regulations and optimising the efficiency of the import/export operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling of Global Exports
- Creating and overseeing applications for all export and transfer permits
- Continued monitoring of export projects and permits as well as the relevant documentation
- Overseeing the application and processing of import certificates
- Training import/export employees
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Demonstrable experience in import/export
- Extensive knowledge of international import/export regulations
- Good knowledge of MS Office Programs
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
