We are currently working with an exciting disruptor to the Fashion and Retail industry as they seek a Head of Sales Planning. In this position you will be charged with leading a newly created department within the Supply Chain function, setting the standard within the company to implement best practices and shape the future of the sales planning team with this department that is primed for continued growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking responsibility for the Sales Planning function and building a new team
- Medium - Long term annual and seasonal planning
- Short term forecasts to determine storage needs, working closely with the sales team
- Ensuring a consistent S&OP process within the supply chain
- Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Procurement and Production teams
- Regular analysis of Sales Planning initiatives and ongoing process optimisation
Key skills include:
- Demonstrable experience in the S&OP function
- History with leading a small team
- Knowledge of the fashion industry is not required, but preferred
- Strong experience with Microsoft products such as Excel and Dynamics
