A global leader in the pharmaceutical/medical industry are looking for a Global Procurement Director - Corporate Services to join their team in Amsterdam. You will oversee categories including travel, fleet, marketing, events and other professional services; experience in travel will be extremely beneficial for this position. Managing a team of up to 6, with a spend of around โฌ400 million, you will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of the corporate service categories on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global strategy for corporate services, including travel, fleet, marketing, events, and professional services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline processes across various corporate functions.
- Directly manage and mentor a team of up to 6 dedicated professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring high performance levels.
- Continuously assess market trends and industry best practices to introduce innovative approaches to corporate service management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards within the corporate services domain.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Multiple years professional procurement experience across professional and corporate services. Including but not limited to travel, fleet, marketing and events.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a keen eye for cost optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, driven by a customer-centric mindset.
- Proficiency in English is essential. Additional language skills beneficial but not essential
