Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee facility maintenance and repair operations across 100 restaurant locations, ensuring they meet all safety, health, and regulatory standards.
- Manage a team of maintenance personnel and contractors, ensuring timely responses to maintenance requests and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of restaurant equipment and infrastructure.
- Monitor and manage facility-related budgets, negotiating with vendors and contractors to ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with restaurant general managers and operations teams to ensure facilities are optimized for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and building codes, addressing any violations promptly and effectively.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify facility-related issues, assess maintenance needs, and develop plans for corrective action.
- Oversee capital improvement projects including renovations, expansions, and equipment upgrades in coordination with company leadership.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, equipment warranties, inspections, and safety certifications.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably within the restaurant, retail, or hospitality industries.
- Experience managing multi-site operations, ideally overseeing 50+ locations.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
- Familiarity with building codes, OSHA standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a dispersed team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the Dallas/Oklahoma region to oversee restaurant locations.
