Are you experienced in strategic sourcing and interested in working with the CFO of one of the leading financial services companies? Currently seeking an executive director to establish and evolve new practices within our client's organization.
As their Executive Director of Strategic Sourcing, your primary responsibility will be to consolidate vendors while maintaining cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders across all functions
- Build relationships externally that can benefit procurement initiatives
- Develop effective strategies designed towards achieving maximum profitability
- Lead negotiations by leveraging industry best-practices
Requirements:
-10 years' experience as well as have worked on complex projects before.
-Proven track record of successful project execution within supply chain management field.
-Bachelor's degree or higher required (preferably Finance/Procurement).
-Familiarity with spend analytics tools like Ariba SAP etc.
This role will be hybrid based in the downtown Chicago location.
