Summary: Located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, a leading producer of disposable tabletop products is looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to optimize processes and systems within the organization. You will have the opportunity to use critical thinking and problem solving skills to improve and perfect the manufacturing process.
The Continuous Improvement Engineer will be responsible for:
- Maximizing productivity through investigation, experimentation, and process implementation
- Offering tactical coaching on Lean Methodology and Continuous Improvement techniques
- Proactively solving problems using statistical analysis
- Developing and implementing new procedures to enhance system uptime and availability
- Serving as an internal liaison between plant staff and vendors, gathering and analyzing data for efficiency improvements, and providing technical support for maintenance operations
The Continuous Improvement Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Works under general supervision with excellent communication and analytical skills
- Capable of developing and leading projects within specified deadlines
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in technical manufacturing, developing process flows, proficiency in engineering software, and Microsoft Office Suite
