A woman is thinking

โ€‹It is important for employers in the German procurement and supply chain sector to retain talented and highly skilled employees, and it can be an employerโ€™s worst nightmare to face a resignation on their desk from an important part of their team. It is tempting to immediately arrange a counter-offer in this situation to help keep top talent within the company.

However, it is most likely that salary is not the primary motivating factor for your employee to look elsewhere for employment. They may be seeking career progression, or may not be enjoying their current working environment.
