This organization is a true driver of the Life Sciences industry, supplying the manufacturing solutions, technology and expertise, critical to new advancements and products across Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology and Consumer Health. For one of their most critical Business Units, which has experienced a huge uptick in demand over the last months, we are helping them secure a Supply Chain Planning Manager who will be instrumental in advancing the performance and efficiency of their supply chain.
The Role/Responsibilities
- Direct leadership of the production planning, material management and operational purchasing teams
- Responsibility for the development and implementation of improved S&OP/SIOP Processes
- Ensuring accurate and timely completion of material planning, and production planning
- Execution of sales planning and capacity planning for both serial production, and the laboratory business
- Disciplinary management of over 10 employees, helping to plan for long-term employee development
- Evaluation and delivery of key reports to highlight delivery capabilities, and production & inventory utilization in the long term, as well as the short term
- Key interface between production, purchasing and sales, as well an important driver for the optimization of the supply chain
Skills/Experience Required
- Professional experience within a comparable production-oriented environment
- Proven track-record of managing within the supply-chain function (planning, materials management etc)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to others
- Ability to lead and motivate employees, while fostering a strong team-oriented culture
- Fluent German-speaking
