My client is an IT system and service company in Germany. They are looking for a Strategic Buyer with a vast understanding and experience in IT procurement. My client is a stable state company over 2000 employees and have a worldwide portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Purchasing indirect materials such as IT hardware and software
- Create and implement an effective procurement strategy
- Work alongside internal stakeholders
- Manage strategies within IT which accurately reflect budget and saving targets
Experience
- Professional experience of indirect procurement within the IT category.
- Previous experience buying IT software and hardware
- Potential and willingness to develop further into a business position
- Extensive analytic, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Relevant professional accreditation (preferred)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- English and German speaking
