Our client is currently hiring for a Sourcing Manager for R&D, with the ideal candidate having a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, a minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the sourcing process for R&D projects, including identifying and engaging with potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including R&D teams, procurement, and legal, to ensure that sourcing strategies align with the needs of the organization.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts to ensure that they are favorable to the organization and meet all legal and compliance requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk and ensure the continuous availability of materials and services required for R&D projects.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure that suppliers meet quality, delivery, and cost expectations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure that the organization is well positioned to meet its R&D sourcing needs.
You will have:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as pharmaceuticals, chemistry, or supply chain management.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions to complex problems.
- Fluency in English and German is required.
