The position will be responsible for helping the company to maintain quality related KPI's, get and maintain quality certifications, maintain and improve the documented QMS and be an active part of continuous improvement activities. This hands-on position will be responsible for:
- Training associates in the "culture" of quality
- Upkeep and improvement of the quality management system
- Working with all facets of the business to improve work processes and procedures
- Lead external (supplier) and customer audits
- Facilitate root cause analysis and lead mistake-proofing projects
- Provide technical support with design reviews, engineering drawing review/approval, and purchasing/vendor issues
- Assist with the development of new quality standards as defined by key customers
- Leading continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization
