Position Summary
A pharma/ biotechnology company is looking for a new maintenance professional. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance department to upkeep, repair, and optimize all necessary equipment and machinery.
The Senior Maintenace Technician will have the following responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibration for facilities and production equipment, ensuring they remain in optimal working condition.
- Accurately complete and route all required documentation to ensure a product/process history consistent with GMP requirements and company Quality Policy.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities in line with company policies.
- Develop and implement operational, inspection, and maintenance procedures for equipment to comply with GMP, FDA, OSHA, ISO, and other relevant guidelines.
- Identify and recommend capital expenditures that lead to cost reduction or quality improvements.
The Senior Maintenance Technician should have the following qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in physical plant, industrial, and/or production equipment maintenance.
- Strong knowledge and skills in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC systems, and High Purity Water Systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing environment.
- Understanding of the Capital Expenditure Request process.
