We are currently working with a chemical manufacturing company that are seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to join their team.
Key Requirements:
- Lead the development and implementation of logistics strategies for the EMEA region, focusing on process optimization and cost reduction while upholding quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate 3rd party warehouses and related Supply Chain teams, monitoring their performance through KPIs and management processes. Ensure stock quality at external warehouses.
- Support manufacturing sites in selecting and managing overflow/off-site warehouses when needed.
- Take ownership of logistics costs, reporting, and the logistics budget, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and other departments, to align logistics operations with company goals and customer requirements.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in logistics management, with a focus on EMEA operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for chemical logistics.
- Ability to analyze data, make data-driven decisions, and manage budgets effectively.
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
