The ideal candidate is a motivated, interpersonal, and strategic individual that will effectively rationilize and implement strategy to optimize the supply base by determining the best suppliers that most align with the strategy.
Responsibilities include:
- Build effective supplier relationships and demonstrate ability to participate in negotiations with suppliers
- Understand the designated commodity strategy
- Execute develop plans, contribute and/or implement supply base projects
- Hold suppliers accountable for root cause and ensure effective correction actions
- Drives and manages supply base to ensure compliance with CoE purchased parts inventory objectives (supplier stocking programs, KANBAN, Vendor managed inventory systems, etc.)
- Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder working relationships
Requirements:
- BA/BS Supply Chain Management or related field
- Minimum 3 years in procurement function
- Experience with FAR/DFAR is highly desirable
- APICS, CPIM experience is preferred
