Production Manager Summary
A leading chemicals manufacturing company is looking to find someone who can lead production operations and procedures in their Texas facility. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can manage the operations team through different business approaches, including manufacturing, materials, facilities, and maintenance.

The Production Manager will have the following Responsibilities:
- Create and ensure production schedule is safe and met daily
- Work cross functionally to ensure plant machines are safely operating and compliant with company standards
- Rotate between different areas of operations and lead business initiatives in the facility
- Make sure that short-term and long-term production and business targets are met
- Ensure that high-quality and safe products are produced that satisfy customers' needs
- Understand yearly business goals and ensure that they are being met
- Train and lead personnel
- Ensure GMP and sanitations standards are met
- Maintain a continuous improvement driven environment
- Employ Lean initiative throughout all team processes
- Guarantee efficiency of ERP system processes
The Production Manager will have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting; chemicals experience preferred
- Working knowledge of the lean manufacturing processes and GMP standards
- Experience initiating process improvement strategies
- Experience establishing and delivering KPIs and goals for a team
- Experience managing budgets
