-Experience purchasing electronic components such as PCBs, circuit boards, passive components, and microwave products.
-Experience in either Aerospace and Defense or an Electronic Manufacturing background.
-Qualifying vendors, obtaining quotes, and sending out bids.
-Negotiate with suppliers
-Determine the lowest cost consistent prices.
-Preparing request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
-Working with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Accounting, and Quality/Engineering.
-Experience managing a team of 3-5 direct reports - experience with direct reports relevant to procurement.
