Our client, a leading pharmaceutical equipment manufacturer, is seeking a Procurement Excellence Manager to join their team in Germany. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to lead and develop the procurement function within a dynamic and growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives
- Manage and lead the procurement team to ensure the delivery of high-quality procurement services
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Manage the procurement budget and provide regular reporting to senior management
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on indirect procurement within the pharmaceuticals industry
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to lead and develop a team
- Fluency in German and English
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with direct procurement within the pharmaceuticals industry
- Knowledge of SAP or other procurement systems
- Experience with international procurement
