As the Director of Procurement - Contingent Workforce and External Services, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our procurement strategies related to contingent workforce and external services. You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient delivery of services across various departments, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and processes for contingent workforce and external services such as engineering services
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and identify opportunities for improvement in service delivery.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate favourable terms and conditions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering partnerships that drive innovation and value creation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Multiple years professional procurement experience, with specific experience in sourcing contingent workforce, external services.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and market dynamics.
- Experience in negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Experience working with internal stakeholders such as hiring managers, HR, IT, legal is beneficial.
