Qualifications for Plant Quality Manager:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Accumulate 5+ years of hands-on experience in Quality/Manufacturing Systems, specifically within the aerospace and defense manufacturing arena
- Exhibit 3+ years of expertise in Lean principles and their strategic application within a business management context
- 3+ years of adeptness with AS9100, encompassing commercial and military aerospace quality and engineering specifications
- Showcase your skill in leading teams within a manufacturing environment
- Possess ASQ certifications (CQE, CQM/OE) or an equivalent quality systems certification
Plant Quality Manager's Responsibilities:
- Championing and executing the Quality Management System (QMS) at our manufacturing sites
- Pioneering the implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodologies on-site
- Ensuring unfaltering compliance with the site's stringent audit requirements
- Vigilantly monitoring and appraising key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to the Site QMS, and initiating the requisite enhancements
- Guaranteeing that our site's leadership adheres to the highest company standards, adapting local QMS and business processes to maximize effectiveness in pursuit of our objectives
- Strategically planning and conducting systematic risk and opportunity analyses of both products and production processes
