As they are currently expanding, this client is currently looking for a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to join the team! They are an immunotherapy company developing next-generation therapies for defeating cancer and infectious diseases.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise operations of manufacturing facility in a cGMP environment
- Investigate/resolve problems by identifying root cause and suggesting process improvements
- Bioreactor culture manufacturing with single use cell culture technologies
- Provide training to staff, including performance reviews (annually)
- Generate SOPs, MBRs and EOPs for equipment/procedures
- Execute production and resource schedule for operational plan
- Process monitoring, including manipulation of databases, documents and spreadsheets
- Interact with vendors and senior management team
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to meet objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry or related field
- 5+ years relevant industry experience
- Proven track record of running a cGMP facility
- Experience running manufacturing-scale bioreactors (including setup, sampling, troubleshooting)
- Knowledge of mammalian cell culture & physiology
- Experience in aseptic processing
