Maintenance Manager Needed for a Leading Food Company

A multi-billion-dollar food company is in search for a well-seasoned Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the replacement parts and inventory for the plant. Along with acting as a safety expert and leader for the team. Do routine checks and audits on machines to ensure safety and productivity is as high as possible. If you are a well-seasoned and ambitious Maintenance leader this is the role for you!
Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the spare parts inventory for the plant.
- Work hand and hand with engineering and technical leaders to make sure machines are running and operated properly.
- Train and develop employees within the maintenance and safety department on new regulations, systems, and procedures.
- Work closely with the finance department to help cut cost on repairs and replacement parts.
- Work cross functionally with the EHS department to maintain environmental goals.
- Manage a team of 10+ employees within Maintenance, Safety, and Engineering. Including KPI's, planning and scheduling.
- Work cross functionally with the Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence teams to help implement Lean principles.
Maintenance Manager Ideal Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field is strongly preferred.
- Have 4+ years of experience within food or a heavily regulated industry.
- Have experience with budgeting and managing inventory costs.
- Experience with OSHA and other safety regulations.
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen. Worked with continuous improvement and operational excellence teams.
- Experience within a heavily regulated manufacturing environment.
