A huge and dynamic company based in the heart of Cologne are searching for a talented Head of Warehouse to overlook all the operations. This company have their headquarters in the UK and pride themselves on the innovative technology and approaches they use. After embarking on a huge expansion into Europe over the past two years, they are developing their operations in Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting and approving the quality and quantity of goods being received and shipped
- Ensuring productivity, health and safety and continuous improvement
- Working with a budget to implement new and improved warehouse tools
- Managing a team of 40 people on the warehouse floor
- Building, training and developing your team
- Overseeing logistics of receiving and dispatching
- Organizing transport for delivery
- Arranging and following up with store transfers with the correct paperwork
Requirements:
- Business fluent English and German
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A genuine care for quality and customer satisfaction
- Exceptional leadership skills
- A degree or equivalent in Supply Chain or Logistics
- 3+ years' experience
