We currently have a Head of Procurement opportunity for CAPEX and Utilities based in West London, United Kingdom.
This position is a permanent role with a world-leading food manufacturing company. They are looking for a Head of Procurement to drive and execute their sourcing strategies for CAPEX and Utilities. The role is with a matrix organisation; it has a procurement vision aiming to provide more value for the business, working across five regions. This leadership role requires a global mindset and a long-term strategic vision for the international and local procurement teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage over ยฃ65m pound spend
- Understand the supply market globally
- Execute the company's Cover Strategy - focusing on natural gas and electricity commodities
- Form an in depth, 2-3 year sourcing strategy
- Map requirements for the next 3 years with engineering
- Build a 3-5 year strategy for category
- Manage global suppliers
- Negotiation and Tenders
- Build Strong SRM
Skills and Experience:
- Degree level or equivalent experience - Engineering would be advantageous
- Procurement experience
- CAPEX experience
- Must have a collaborative mindset and work with a cross-functional team
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to be hands on operationally
- Have the ability to build long term strategic visions
- Excellent English skills
- Advanced Excel & Power Point Skills
- Previous Category Management experience
