As the Head of Procurement Excellence, you will have complete accountability for the procurement excellence function. Your key responsibilities will include creating and maintaining procurement processes, systems, policies, and training for our global team. You will lead and manage a global team, driving procurement best practices and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain procurement processes, systems, and policies to ensure best practices and compliance across the organization.
Lead and manage a global team, providing direction, support, and development opportunities.
Design and deliver procurement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the global procurement team.
Monitor and evaluate procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.
Ensure effective risk management and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the procurement function.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in a senior procurement excellence role, with extensive knowledge of procurement processes, principles and practices.
Demonstrated success in a leadership role, ideally with some experience in a direct management position
Excellent communication and strong stakeholder management skills with previous experience working alongside C-level. Professional fluency in English essential, other European languages beneficial but not essential.
Willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
