Reporting to Sr. Manager, Global Supply Chain Planning, the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) Manager's role is the primary driving decision making across the business through the S&OP process. This leader will enhance business capabilities to sustain and drive strategic deployment and delivery of business results in line with the company's supply capabilities.
About the job:
Coaches and manages cross-functional team development and performance. Decide on staff, prioritize the allocation of resources, and quarterly sales forecast achievement.
Collaborate with site operations & supply chain teams to ensure adherence to the supply plans. Track performance to plan.
Develop global inventory outlooks & forecasts; identify and drive actions to achieve targets.
Lead cross-functional teams (product management, sales, etc.) to drive improved cash flow via improved inventory management and overall reduction of E&O expenses.
Maintain & analyze the MRP load of demand planning forecasts. Analyze demand trends and statistical forecasts that may impact the supply plan.
Work with Product Management, Forecasting, and Sales to better manage the demand on production facilities & outsource partners.
About you:
BA/BS degree in a business, supply chain management, logistics, or equivalent.
7+ years business experience
Experience evaluating the performance of the business and what levers should be pulled to drive performance
Well-developed organization skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Proactive, high energy, detailed-oriented when appropriate, results-oriented, and willing to initiate and nurture change
Strong stakeholder management skills
5+ years management work experience in supply chain planning/management
Working knowledge of SAP/ERP required
