A leader in the food and beverage industry is currently seeking the ideal candidate for a Procurement Manager opening in Tampa, FL. The incumbent will have prior experience procuring food & beverage categories, as well as indirect procurement experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the category management process and execution
- Manage supplier relations, supplier onboarding, and supplier negotiations
- Reviewing suppliers and KPI development
- Work cross-functionally with other senior members within the company to execute common goals and objectives
- Utilize a team buying strategy across multiple spend areas both direct and indirect
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5-7 years experience in Procurement/Supply Chain within a food and beverage or food service organization is required
- Prior experience procuring food and beverage commodities
- Prior experience procuring indirect materials
- Proven cross-functional experience
- The ability to network effectively in the industry
