- Global Logistics Manager

- $95,000 to $110,000 + 15% bonus
A globally successful Consumer Goods business is looking to hire a new Global Logistics Manager at one of their key locations in Exeter, NH. The successful candidate will take ownership of the company's transportation network, and lead all inbound and outbound transportation to and from the Distribution Centers and Drop Ship locations, as well as lead the Transportation carrier selection and managing the performance of Freight Forwarders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure parcel, ocean and trucking contracts are in place as required
- Manage all inbound and outbound Transportation from origin points to Distribution Centers, and from Distribution Centers to customer locations
- Lead and oversee daily operations for the global shipping network
- Conduct freight costing of materials via multiple modes of shipping
- Evaluate and assess metrics and performance of freight & carrier operations, inventory and transportation
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Bachelor's degree (ideally in an analytical subject)
- 5 to 7 years experience in Logistics/Transportation
- Proven experience managing 3rd party Transportation Carriers
- Demonstrated Cost-Saving accomplishments
- Strong analytical skills
