Global Category Manager - R&D
We are currently seeking a Global Category Manager - R&D for a leading pharmaceutical company based in Frankfurt, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of the Research and Development category, ensuring that all procurement activities are delivered to the highest standard.
This role requires fluency in Mandarin and German.
Responsibilities:
- Develop procurement strategies for the R&D category, specifically Clinical Sourcing.
- Manage procurement projects from end-to-end, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Identify new suppliers and negotiate contracts
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Deliver cost savings and improve efficiency across the R&D category
Skills:
- Strong experience in procurement, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
