Facilities Manager
Company Summary: This pharmaceutical and bio-technology company is looking for a Facilities Manager to join their team. This global company has around 3,000 employees and has plans to hire dozens of new employees to this site for 2021. The company successfully provides manufacturing to various leading companies throughout the industry. This role would be for an experienced Facilities Manager from within the biotech, medical device, or pharma industries, who would play a key role in the execution of projects and maintenance throughout their growing 50K+ sq. ft. site.
The Facilities Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Overseeing Cleanroom and office facilities service operations in support of manufacturing and quality, while remaining in full compliance with all necessary regulations
- Management of design specification, contract negotiation, timelines and execution of various projects to improve and maintain facility operations
- Promoting safety, compliance, best practices, engineering standards, resource optimization and utilization of reporting metrics throughout the site
- Lead and manage the facility group
The Facilities Manager will have the following qualifications:
- Experience with HVAC and ISO5 Cleanrooms preferred
- Bachelor's Degree of Science in Engineering or related field strongly preferred; experience in lieu of degree would be considered
- 7-10 years of experience in facilities engineering
- 5+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or comparable highly regulated environment
- Previous management experience strongly preferred
