Job Overview:
As the Director Procurement Electronics, you will be responsible for leading the procurement function for the Electronics category, ensuring that the company's procurement strategy is aligned with business objectives and that procurement activities are executed effectively and efficiently. You will be working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure that the company's procurement needs are met and that value is delivered to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directs the procurement function for the Electronics category, ensuring that procurement activities are executed effectively and efficiently
- Develops and implements procurement strategies that are aligned with business objectives
- Works closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure that the company's procurement needs are met
- Manages supplier relationships and negotiates contracts to ensure that value is delivered to the business
- Develops and manages procurement budgets and ensures that procurement activities are cost-effective
- Provides leadership and guidance to the procurement team, ensuring that team members are motivated and engaged
- Ensures that procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in the Electronics category
- Experience in a global procurement function
- Experience in a leadership role
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, or a related field
- Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
- Professional certification in Procurement (e.g. CIPS, CPSM) (preferred)
